Rice Lake is part of the Trent Canal System, a 380km network of waterways that connect the Bay of Quinte, Lake Ontario, to Georgian Bay. Boaters can tour the lake and enter from the locks is Hastings through the Trent River or the Otonabee River. The lake has many fully equipped marinas, eateries, groceries, gas and public parks.  Imagine the memories!

By car or motorcycle there are plentiful touring opportunities. Take a self guided shopping tour and visit unique galleries, gift shops, and studios. Many restaurants, bakeries and farm gate sales surround the lake and offer tasty treats!
